The results for the 2010 Asian Pastry Cup are as follows:

Best Chocolate showpiece     Singapore
Best Sugar showpiece       Taiwan
Best Chocolate Cake        China
Best Plated Dessert        Malaysia
Best Team Spirit        Indonesia

 

Each team had 8 hours to prepare the following:

• Chocolate cake
• 1 for eight persons for display
• 1 for eight persons for tasting
• Plated dessert
• 10 plates for the professional Jury
• 6 plates for the Media Jury
• 1 plate for photos
• 1 plate for the buffet
• Sugar showpiece
• Maximum height of 125cm
• Base of 60cm x 40cm
• Chocolate showpiece
• 100% chocolate
• Base of 60cm x 40cm
• Maximum height of 125cm

 

The Asian Pastry Cup is a competition within itself but also serves as the official competition at which four Asian teams are pre-selected to compete at the World Pastry Cup 2011 in Lyon, France.
